Hi, I’m Charlotte, founder of Cloth & Clay.



I grew up on the coast in West Sussex, and moved to London to train in costume making. I worked in various costume and wardrobe departments within the West End for almost a decade, before pivoting to set up my small business in the pandemic when all the theatres closed their doors.



Cloth & Clay is a London based independent brand centred around creating sustainable homeware pieces with a touch of luxury. Everyday essentials such as tea towels, aprons and table linens are made in muted colours and high quality linen to elevate your kitchen, dining and living spaces. All pieces are designed to be functional, blend in with any home aesthetic, and to be easily combined with each other for beautiful homeware scenes and dreamy tablescapes.
